Natty Vibes
Natty Vibes
Natural Vibrations, aka Natural Vibes or Natty Vibes, is Hawai'i's most popular and acclaimed band from the Windward side of O'ahu. They started out as a group of friends who loved playing music and went from playing backyard parties to headlining some of Hawai'is biggest shows and venues. Since 1996 they've recorded 6 full length albums featuring a sound with strong roots in reggae, rock and pop. Their unique musical blend combined with a party and dance energy has allowed them share the stage with artists like Prince, 311, Jimmy Cliff, Ziggy Marley, UB40, Jack Johnson, Pepper and SOJA, to name a few. The same sound and vibe that has earned them the respect of some of reggae's biggest names has also brought them multiple Best Reggae Album and People's Choice awards at the Hawaii Music Awards, as well as, Hawai'i's prestigous Na Hoku Hanohano Awards.

"Our biggest accomplishment is to after 15 years still be playing and producing music that is loved and anticipated by our fans."

Thats the driving force behind their current goal to relocate to the west coast, tour nationally and record new music. With the help of Polynesian Underground, Natural Vibrations will embark on new territory and new listeners.
Look for their newest single, "Make You Stay" to be released November 2012, and catch them at a show in your neighborhood.

Stay Grounded
Stay Grounded
As the tectonic landscape of Northwest Reggae shifted in 2013, Stay Grounded rose from the depths, born from, and rooted to the indigenous music of the worlds people. A true cross-pollenation of the purest forms of Hawaiian, African, Afro-cuban, Jazz and R&B is evident in a powerhouse collection of originals that rumble the foundation while honoring tradition. Members of SG have studied traditional Ukelele and Hawaiian harmonies, the sacred arts of both the conga and the djembe, classical percussion, jazz saxaphone and choral and r&b vocals. Passions and influences range as wide and deep as the ocean, from Bob Marley to Bootsy Collins, from Michael Brecker to Marvin Gaye.
Members of this group have shared stages and toured with luminaries such as Natural Vibrations, Slightly Stoopid, Michael Franti and Spearhead, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Wyclef Jean, Steel Pulse, Third World, 311 and more! Collectively, Stay Grounded has shared bills and forged relationships with The Green, Anuhea,, Common Kings, Katchafire and more! Stay Grounded's sound has been compared to Common Kings, Natural Vibrations, The Green, Figi and Katchafire, yet they strive to stay original, and place an emphasis on proprietary music at their high-energy live shows.
Stay Grounded is scheduled to release their long anticipated self-titled debut in Spring of 2015, recorded and mixed at Pacific Studios in Tacoma, WA. It sounds at once old and new, it honors doctrine and deviance, it feels sweet and sultry. Take a powerhouse rhythm section that's funky, soulful and tribal, with crucial Hawaiian and R&B harmonies, melt it to magma and put it under pressure at the base of a Polynesian volcano. The result is guaranteed.
Stay Grounded will blow you away!
Rhythm n Brown
Rhythm n Brown
What started out as an idea in 2013 Rhythm n Brown was put on the shelf to later ripen into 3 brothers looking to create music with a message for the masses. Using a foundation of R&B vocals and Reggae characterized beats over thoughtfully articulated lyrics, Rhythm n Brown would re emerge in late 2014, in a little house studio on the south side of Tacoma, Washington.
In late september of 2015 Rhythm n Brown released its debut album/EP called Jah Judge.
"This album is intended for any and all to listen and enjoy. Our focus was to enlighten, strengthen, and uplift all walks of life, and feel good in the process. The merging of sounds of many different genres is from our love for all music. Its our attempt to use key ingredients of all genres infused with a backbone of Reggae and R&B to create our own style. Each song has its own message and feel. We hope as you listen you can decipher and relate to something on the album and, we pray our music reaches anyone out there to get you through anything in your life, and if so we have done our job."
Rhythm n Brown intends to share their music with the world by any means in the upcoming year. Though charismatic live performances and blue collar work ethic Rhythm n Brown plans to flip the script for any and all.
